I'm what? How is this possible?

For all of you who thought maybe this was a post April Fool's Day joke... here's a little proof! This was at my last doctor's appointment... I'm about 13 weeks along due around January 7, 2008 (that sounds so far away...). Everything thus far is going well. Apparently they will just monitor me closely and hope for the best. As most of you know, this was a SURPRISE to us as we were not planning on having another little bundle of joy just yet...... but we're getting used to the idea and hoping that he/she will be healthy and strong.

My morning sickness is beginning to subside a little... Just ask my new favorite sister, Emily, who has been taking care of me and the girls for about the past 6 weeks or so. Poor girl... she didn't know what she was getting herself into! I remember being sick and I remember the nausea, but I don't remember not being able to get off of the couch, cook or do laundry. Maybe that's what happens when you get old (no offense to those my senior, but seriously, I'm not 20 anymore)....

My next doctor's appointment is supposed to be next week, but since I am going to be seeing a new doctor beginning mid-July, I'm not sure if it's worth the co-pay... we'll see. For now we're just trying to get used to the idea that it won't just be "the girls" anymore. Hayley has offered to put a crib in her room, but only if we have a baby like Alena (Erin and Bob's youngest). Apparently she never cries... and I must say that I've never seen her cry either, so I'm with Hayley.

The girls are trying to get me to go baby shopping daily and they are throwing out all kinds of names that are not even suitable for a pet... Hayley is a big fan of "Labrod" and Maya is pulling for "Rico." I told the girls that this baby could ALSO be a girl, but they won't hear of it. I think I'm hoping for a boy as well, but healthy anything is just fine with me.

Yesterday the girls, Emily and I went to the circus which was allllll sorts of fun. I thought I did a great thing by getting us front row seats, but apparently in the front row you are voluntarily putting yourself at risk for being drug out on the floor with the clowns. (Aunt Aja would have LOVED this!) Mid-circus they took all of us (including Emily) down on the floor in front of everyone in America West arena to do a clown dance and ride in a clown car behind some stinky elephants. Nobody was very excited about it, but we all smiled and acted the part. I just kept telling the girls that it made our circus fun more memorable and that they would laugh about it for years..................but they didn't see it that way!

We haven't been able to do very many fun things lately due to my being sick. We've seen all of the 3rd movies (Shrek, Pirates, Spidey) and it seems that cold movie theatres are always my favorite thing to do. I believe that Ratatouille is next, so we'll let you know what we think.... We did see Highschool Musical at Gammage a few weeks ago, which was actually done really well. I was really tired of bopping to the top by the end of the musical... but the girls seemed to really enjoy it.

The next big summer vacation will be to San Fran to visit uncle George, Bree, Kenz, Nicholas and Zoe. My girls are very excited to spend an entire week with Kenzie, as they haven't seen her in a while. I am equally excited to hang out for a few days in the hopefully cooler weather and hang out with my sister :)
