So I had dinner tonight with my Neapolitan sister friends. It's really amazing that 25 years of memories you didn't know were there can come to light during a few hours with good friends. **Hours of dancing in front of mirrored walls (*Thanks Tom and Judy*) to really pointless Debbie Gibson songs made moments that would last a lifetime** Saying "I'm her" (and insert: Marylou Retton, anyone named "Lynn Hamilton", any Romanian gymnast, including but not limited to Nadia Comaneci, or even Svetlana whatshername) and actually willing yourself to BE her**Quoting movies such as 'Young Guns' while all of us know exactly what you mean**Wishing you could take back that one time you did that one thing that wasn't as sisterly as it should have been (sorry girls)** Dreaming that you would all grow up and live on the same street and raise your kids together (maybe that was just my dream?)**Of course I could go on and on, mostly because I have my journals to glean from... but I think you know what I mean. Those memories that fade and then come back when you least expect them to...Thanks girls - for the fun, the laughs and the new memories of 'happy birthday' in Italian....
