Our sweet cousin Nie has been waiting for the arrival of this little jem for a while now. I must say that I am sad that I won't be seeing her almost everyday of the week, but I'm so happy for her and Daniel. Their adoption experience seemed to be an awesome one. They got to be there when baby Lila was born. It was interesting to hear from Nie's perspective how she felt being an adoptive mother. I read a note from the birth mother and it was overwhelming to me. She expressed her gratitude for the couple willing to adopt and give her baby the home that she couldn't provide. I can't think of a more perfect family for this baby to be with. It has given me a better understanding of the love adoptive parents have for their children...What a beautiful baby girl.
