Chloe handled her first road trip (or fieldtrip as Hays called it) to St. David well. The girls fight about who has to sit next to the baby in the car because they constantly have to answer my questions of "is she breathing" the whole way. We only had to stop once (at Ice cream mountain) for a little while. The trip down was great.

We colored Easter eggs (again) and the girls followed Grandma's tradition of coloring them in the goblets. For as long as I can remember my mom had us color Easter eggs in these glasses. I think it was the only time they actually came out of the cupboard all year. I think they colored two dozen eggs -- in addition to the dozens already colored. It's a good thing Grandpa likes deviled eggs....
Saturday was full of kite flying and fun. It's super windy down there so kite flying was superb. Apparently spiderman flew best.

The girls got Easter baskets on Sunday filled with WAY TOO MUCH candy. Chloe got an Easter basket as well -- filled with toys (not medicine). She didn't seem to care.

The girls then hunted Easter eggs... which were hid by Grandma since the Easter bunny forgot. My girls have reached the age limit when it comes to hunting eggs - they are able to find the eggs in like 2.5 minutes and someone always gets her feelings hurt by the other's early completion of said egg hunt (all children shall remain nameless, but someone pouted on the lawn for like 15 minutes). It's fun to hunt Easter eggs in the David because the eggs are hidden on automobiles. Really. There aren't too many trees in Grandma's front yard...so the eggs were mostly in wheel wells of cars, etc. They were also hidden on the boat, toy hauler and quad trailer. Only in the David. All together we had a great trip filled lots of family.

Chloe got to see Grandma Lola and Grandpa Moose for the first time since she was born. They seemed pretty impressed at her size and her little smile.
