In this case it's GREAT! SATs meaning oxygen saturation....

So...what's missing in this picture?? That's right! O2 baby! Chloe got her pulse ox today to see if she can come off of the oxygen...and her saturation has been between 90 and 100 (mostly) for a few hours now.... it's the first time I've ever seen her breathing without supplemental oxygen in her life. I didn't think it would make me cry - but it did. What an awesome thing to see after five months of seeing her with 'help'. She will go overnight with the pulse ox and then tomorrow they'll pick up the monitor and download the info....I'm hoping then that I can call the Pulmo and she can be OFFFFF of the O2. Yay!
Here's Chloe and a doll that is the same size that Chloe was at birth. I'm not sure how long she is now, but she is much longer than her 13 inch doll. I'm pretty sure the doll's belly is wider than Chloe's was, too....
So, this one is not a very nice mom thing to do,
but you can see her scar from the PDA surgery... it's right along her left shoulder blade. It's really faded -- but stretched along her back, too. She has come SO far...
