CHUNKY baby....Chloe is up to about 14.5 lbs now... I think she's right around 22" long. She's almost 8 months old... we really can't
believe she's been around that long. She found her voice this week and I'm sort of wishing she would lose it. She's getting pretty bossy in her old age...but still SO cute. Two different people have commented this week about the "healthy" or "chubby" baby. I LOVE these comments. No one would ever know that she started off so tiny and sick. Even when I say she's almost 8 months old, they don't really bat an eye -- like she's on track for that age (she's still more like a 5 month old, no crawling, sitting, etc.) We are pretty sure that she's teething...she's been grumpy for no apparent reason -- and is chewing on EVERYTHING. She's also either drooling or puking all the time, but what else is new.

Chloe's gearing up for summer...

These pictures make me laugh...she looks like a little baby Goomba.
We went to the David this past weekend for Grandpa Moose's birthday. It was good to get out of town and hang out with the extended
fam. At Grandma's house we found this little pink dress on a doll and I decided to put it on Chloe. It was very cute and she thought it tasted good.

We had a block party for Grandpa's birthday, which included former members of the block and the new kids on the block. This little girl was just
chillin and I thought she summed up the
barbecue pretty nicely...just
kickin it in a lawn chair eating some cake (dubbed "better than church cake", or "go to hell cake" - either way it was
delish - thanks
aunty jan and
lori)

Hays and Brenna always get along perfect - they are like sisters (and look so much alike, except Brenna is like 6 inches taller than Hays)

Maya had a LOT of fun with her cousin Keely, and Keely's baby sister. The kids built a "nest" from the dead tree branches and took turns sitting in it. Those were the good old days when building a nest was the highlight of your day...

Swimming was also a major highlight at Grandma's house. Apparently Maya has been watching a little too much America's Next Top Model. I didn't see my older girls the entire time we were there. They have such a great time... Chloe didn't really mind the trip, either. She is okay for about 1.5 hours of travel and then the balance of the time she screams. It is nice to be able to go to the David for the weekend -- it's very relaxing and the days seem
reallllly long.
