So, Chloe can ROLL over from back to tummy...on Friday (june 6th exactly) she FINALLY got over her chubby squishy arm and rolled completely over. And now? I can't get her to lay still to change her diaper. She's constantly rolling over and then gets p-i-s-s-e-d when she is on her tummy for too long.
"Hey kid! You're the one who rolled over on her tummy! Roll back!" That's what I'm
thinking most of the time, but you know I just run right over and help her flip onto her back again. I can't help it. I don't like for her to be sad ever. I suppose it's the aftershocks of the lengthy hospital stay...maybe the cries silenced by that tube that was down her throat for 10 weeks? Don't know - what I do know is that she is getting closer and closer to totally healthy on-track baby girl which we love. She's turned into quite the little personality as well. The older girls can have an entire conversation with Chloe just by blowing spit bubbles. Chloe follows suit, which is, of course, the cutest thing we've ever seen.

Also on that same Friday, I decided to give Chloe some cereal. She can't sit up yet unassisted, but she can hold her head up very well and *tries* very hard to sit up on her own... She is getting better with choking, so I figured (against all advice of her GI) that she could try to eat some rice cereal from a spoon. She's already getting it in her bottles, so I know she isn't allergic and that it won't cause any great discord to her digestive system...so we tried it. As expected, she's not a fan. First off, it tastes like poop, and secondly, it tastes like poop. She gagged at first (a very funny video that I don't have time to upload and post) and then just blew bubbles with it. I think it took my other kids a few attempts of cereal eating to learn that they could actually blow bubbles with what I was sticking in their mouths - but not Chloe - second bite and she was spitting it out with force. She's still having reflux issues...and it's very frustrating because the formula is so expensive...it's like taking a bulimic girl on a date to a nice restaurant. Actually, it's not like that at all, as she has no control over it, but sometimes she smiles after she yaks her whole bottle up and I wonder if she has learned to do it on command when she sees I'm wearing a nice shirt.

The girls have been going to a basketball camp and will go to volleyball camp this week. I would post pictures of the camps but I'm pretty sure they'd kill me if I took pictures of them at these camps. My girls are borderline too cool for school and I wish the growing up would cease and desist immediately. So far I think they are enjoying the summer break. I don't know what I've been doing as our house is a mess and I've done very little work. What I DO know is that they have discovered the play
Wicked from the fabulous Harper family and now all I hear day in and day out is that song "Popular." Both girls have downloaded the soundtrack on their Ipods and now we get to hear it in the car AND in the house 24/7. I like popularity, defying gravity and personality dialysis sounds great but OMG these kids, singing at the top of their lungs... it is time to move on to something new... I'd give anything to have Nick Jonas back hanging on Maya's wall... I actually ASKED her to put her TAYLOR SWIFT cd in today. It's getting that bad. We need a new soundtrack... any suggestions?
