Homecoming Marlee style

Mountain View Homecoming

2009

Not sure what that face is I'm pulling...I think it was "Shoot. I knew I should have brought my bump-its..."

The girls and I got to go to Aunt Silva's house yesterday to watch Marlee get ready for her very first formal dance...Mountain View Homecoming. Prep time is always the most fun. Marlee was a great sport as her mom and I tried our best to make her look like she was not attending prom in 1985... (tough job as we both like to "back comb" and "rat" like crazy).
Marlee had to endure the mamarazzi...
Papa papa razzi. Just kidding, it's papa Kim.AND then the Date arrived. And they did the uncomfortable boutineer pinning challenge. I'm not sure why it is so hard to put a strait pin into a boy's shirt, but it really is a challenge. I think mom had to step in and put it on. Date was pleased.
CHEESE!
Marlee was super easy going and looked absolutely beautiful. Her dress was awesome (and TEAL. You know, like sort of bluish-greenish? Like Geo Storms of the 1990s?! Her date's shirt matched her dress. sort of)
They looked great together and we hope she had a terrific time (as outlined on the agenda).

We gave her some lipgloss for her date. "Modest is Hottest." Just a little reminder.

We love you Marlee :)
