This was not uncle Kim and Grandpa King's first opportunity to give Chloe a blessing...back in November when Chloe was very sick they came to the hospital and spent ALL day waiting for the chance to give her a blessing. Every time we thought it was a good time, the nurse would tell me that she needed to do just one more thing....start another IV....start the second portion of the blood transfusion...etc. Finally after hours of waiting, they were able to give her a sweet blessing. We teased uncle Kim yesterday that he left a fingerprint on Chloe's head - where her forehead dents in above her eyebrows...Just after they finished her blessing in the hospital, we saw improvement. It was miraculous to say the least.
She screamed the entire time.
Chloe was not a fan of the blessed event...
Gramps said he could not hear a thing he was saying, but I trust that it was just the right thing. Before Granny passed, she said that not a day went by that Grandpa didn't pray for Chloe by name. He is her biggest fan.
We had a great time hanging out with the Kings, JR and fam, all the grandparents, etc. The day before we went to cousin Tate's baptism. He is the cutest thing ever... I thought of him as being such a little kid until that day. When he came over for Chloe's blessing, he seemed so much older -- as evidenced by his massive chest busting out of his Sunday shirt --
The kids were playing a game, all sitting in a circle, singing a song. It was very cute and seemed to be lots o' fun.
We love, love, love our family. Thanks to all those who came to support Chloe!
