So, after a few days with the flute, Hayley convinced me that she is a girl who is supposed to play the clarinet. Sooooooooo, we went back to the music store and exchanged the lovely, melodic flute for the even more lovely...Clarinet. If only Kenney G did play the clarinet...at least then I'd know that it would eventually sound good.

hooray for donkey squeaks! i am proud of hayley for sticking with her intuition on which instrument was right for her. i am also happy that hayley is picking up the legacy i began with the clarinet and the audio assault that will soon begin (again!) on poor mandy's ears. cheers to the music man. i'm happy kenzie has switched to guitar. :)
