Four months old!

Apparently, the 4 month mark is boring...

Chloe is 4 months old today, 4.5 weeks adjusted...which means she acts like and is the size of a one month old baby. She is about 19.5 inches long and 7 lbs. She seems to be adjusting well to home and being held all the time... especially the holding part.

Yesterday we saw the endocrinologist. Chloe has more "ologists" than I care to know. After last weeks' blood work they found that she's got some thyroid elevation which sent us to the newest ologist. He was a funny little man that couldn't give me any answers (aka doctor). He will send us for more blood tests. Luckily this time they will be done out-patient at Banner Desert rather than the Sonora lab like last time. Last time they poked her too many times and kept commenting on how "tiiiiiiiny" she is. Tiny baby+tiny veins=lousy blood draws. After this blood work we'll know whether it's the thyroid or the pituitary gland. I don't really know which is worse as I haven't done any research yet....we'll just wait and see what the prognosis is. Luckily we don't have to see the funny little man for another month. I figured out a new way to carry her monitor and oxygen tank and diaper bag so that they so conspicuous. Well, that's what I thought, anyway. In the elevator an older man said, "What's in the bag? Her plumbing?" I smiled and said she was already a high-maintenance little girl. He said it will get better. Obviously he doesn't have daughters!

Today was the older girls' first volleyball game! I'm happy to report that the Champions (team name) were victorious! They won the first two games (to 25, rally scoring) and then a third practice game (to 15). Both girls did excellent - especially for their first game. The best thing about it is that they both enjoy it :) Next Saturday we have another game. If anyone wants to come watch email me and I'll give you the info! My connection is lousy or I'd upload some video...maybe next time!
