BIG girrrl

Standing tall... *lets hope the bones aren't brittle anymore*

Chloe crashed out with Hayley...

Let's see...this week we've only seen the Ped once -- which was just for a little skin rash on Chloe's forehead. Turns out she must be allergic to something (big surprise). We think it was either a) the cat Jake let her near and/or b) the plants he let her touch. I'm big on not letting her do/touch/go near anything, but sometimes I don't get my way. It turned out to be nothing bad and we are just putting a little cortizone on it.

The doctor was able to get Chloe an appointment for the swallow study on Thursday, so we'll be heading out to participate in that this week. I guess they just lace her Elecare with barium and take a bunch of Xrays to see where it goes. I've been adding the rice cereal to her bottles and we've had a heck of a time trying to find which nipple works best (Dr. Brown, stage 3). She still pukes most of it up, so I don't know if it's working or not. She seems to like it fine, so it must taste a little better than her hypoallergenic-unflavored-amino-acid-based-nutritional-therapy-for-severe-food-allergies-and-malabsorptive-conditions-medical-food (aka million dollar formula). Prevacid remains.

Chloe's Prevacid tablet is not going down any easier now that I attempt to dissolve it in a syringe. It just transforms into a thousand little beads that run out of her mouth. I hope she's at least getting some of it in her stomach.

Chloe is enjoying the bouncer a little more lately. She's figured out that when she moves it makes noise. Apparently it also makes her tired. This site freaks me out because the first thing I think is that she isn't breathing. I know, it's been 7 months and I should get over it, but the fear is still there.
